Ran 2.95 miles yesterday and today, on West End, which isn’t exactly flat. I think I’ll actually be ready for the 5K in a month, and might actually have a decent time. Amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it! If anyone else is Nashville is interested: Ellie’s Run for Africa on June 13 at Percy Warner! (http://www.elliesrun.org/)
Now, if I can just start eating better, I’ll really be making progress. I have almost no will power when it comes to sweets and snacking. Any tips…other than to not buy them?? (Problem is they are always at work).

Suggestion: I used http://www.livestrong.com/dailyplate to track what I ate each day. I’ve recently stopped doing it, and it can be difficult if you eat out a lot. It made me intensely aware of EVERYTHING I was eating–and how bad some of it was for me. It also really forced me to focus on cooking for myself, because I could more easily track what I ate. It really transformed my eating habits!
