I was browsing my 101 list tonight, as I do every now and then as it is easy to forget what is on a list that long. #32 on my list is to visit 3 states I have never visited. Although this one will take some time, it got me thinking about what my options would be, so I started with a list of the states I have visited. I define visited as stayed a night in and/or spent most of a day in and did numerous activities, not just drove through. So here we go…..
- California (just San Fran, though! it almost counts as more than one state since it’s so big)
- New Jersey
- New York
- North Carolina (counts but only spent a weekend at a conference at Montreat)
- South Carolina
- South Dakota
I would say 21 out of 50 at my quarter-life isn’t too shabby. But I still have plenty of options left to visit. Ideally one would be outside of the continental US (i.e. Hawaii or Alaska). I’ve really wanted to visit Seattle (Washington) out West; Maine and/or Pennsylvania in the Northeast; of course there is Las Vegas in Nevada; and I reallllly can’t believe I only spent one weekend in North Carolina.
Anyway…just thinking ahead since this one will take time and planning. But at least I have plenty of options!
