One food dish closer to completing #52 on my 101 list! Last weekend was Vandy’s Homecoming, and I had some wonderful friends come into town for the festivities. And let’s be honest, I love football season, but Homecoming trumps all. Once again I failed to take any pictures of the process or the final product, but let’s just say this Buffalo Chicken Dip did not make it through the whole tailgate. It was maybe the most delicious dip I have ever had. I doubled the recipe since we had a lot of people at our tailgate, but here’s the recipe for one batch!
Buffalo Chicken Dip
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup ranch salad dressing
1/2 cup hot sauce (I used Frank’s original flavor)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cans (12.5 oz each) chunk chicken in water, drained
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place cream cheese into deep baking dish. Stir until smooth.
2. Mix in salad dressing, hot sauce, and cheese. Stir in chicken.
3. Bake 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish as desired. Serve with tortilla chips or veggies.
It’s a VERY easy dish and is great for large groups! I didn’t have pics of food, but here are a few from the festivities throughout the day!
