Luckiest Girl Alive

I finished my 5th book for the year – making good progress on my 20 for the year! Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll was a superb but heavy book. The topics covered are intense and there were times that I simply had to put the book down and take a break. But the topics Knoll focuses on are important topics and not ones that should be swept under the rug. Just be warned before you read it.

Knoll’s writing is similar to Gillian Flynn but I wouldn’t say the books are similar. But if you liked Gone Girl you will probably like Luckiest Girl Alive. It was a quick read even having to take breaks. Add it to your list and enjoy before the movie (produced by Reese Witherspoon) comes out, though this will also be a very intense movie. Still can’t wait!
