Thank goodness After You by Jojo Moyes ended the way I wanted it to or I may have thrown my Kindle. I won’t give the end away, obviously, but there were numerous times reading this book that I was silently screaming at Louisa, the main character. This is the sequel to Me Before You, which many of you have probably read and/or watched (the movie came out this summer), and it was not quite as good, as few sequels are, but I definitely recommend it. Though I’m still not sure what the storyline with Louisa’s parents has to do with anything – seemed really random and just an excuse to have them in the story still. Didn’t really add anything, though. I will tell you there was no ugly crying in this one as Louisa works to move on with life after losing Will, and that there are funny, sad, and expected moments. The rest you’ll have to read to find out!
